In this article, you will find out some general suggestion to fix any issues in the app:
Restart your device
Android
- Hold the power button on the side of the phone
- A menu with the option to Shut Down or Reboot will pop up
- Click "Reboot"
- If the operating system doesn't respond, you can hold down both the power and volume up buttons
iOS
- Hold the power button on the side of the phone
- Slide to power off
- If the operating system doesn't respond, you can long-press both the power button and the home key
Reinstall the app
- Touch and hold the AlfredCamera app
- Tap the "Remove App" icon on the top left
- Tap Delete App, then tap Delete to confirm
- Go to App Store and search "Alfred Camera" to download it
- Install the app
Factory reset on your camera device
In some situations, other apps could interfere with Alfred’s operation. If none of the above steps work, you might want to reset your camera device to factory settings after backing up your data.
Note: Performing a factory reset will delete all your data and get the software back to its original state.
Android
- Back up your data to your Google account
- Open Settings
- Select System
- Expand the menu by hitting Advanced
- Go into Reset options
- Hit Erase all data (factory reset)
- Tap on Erase all data
- Enter your PIN if prompted
- Select Erase all data and let the phone do its thing
iOS
Use iCloud to back up your phone:
- Settings
- Tap on your name at the top of the page
- iCloud > iCloud Backup > Back up now
With your phone backed up, please factory reset it by following these steps:
- Open the Settings app
- Select General
- Scroll to the bottom and select Reset
- Select Erase All Content and Settings
