You may not be receiving notifications because it has been disabled in the app or the phone settings. It may also be that your device has automatically filtered out Alfred's activities or that your network is disconnected.
⚠️ Note: If you lost your internet connection at any point, the notifications during the disconnection would not be resent.
Below are 6 tips that might help fix the problem:
- Turn on all notifications in the app
- Allow notifications from Alfred on your device's system settings
- Lock Alfred in the background
- Disable certain settings for Android
- Enable autostart when the screen is off (OPPO, ASUS, and Infinix only)
- Reinstall the app and restart your phone
Turn on notifications in the app
- Individual Camera device's Motion Detection notifications
- Individual Camera device's battery notifications (Android only)
- All notifications on the Viewer device
Allow notifications from Alfred on your device's system settings
📱 On iOS devices
- Open "Settings"
- Tap "Notifications"
- Tap "Alfred Camera"
- Switch on the "Allow Notifications" toggle, and check all alert types
📱 On Android devices
- Open "Settings"
- Tap "Apps"
- Tap AlfredCamera
- Tap "Notifications"
- Switch on the "All AlfredCamera notifications" toggle
Lock Alfred in the background (Android-only and may look different on different devices)
⚠️ Note: When an app is running but is not visible on the screen, it is considered running in the background.
- Swipe up and find the Alfred app in the app switcher
- Tap on the Alfred logo
- Choose "Lock this app"
Disable certain settings for Android
🔋 Disable battery optimization
- Swipe up and find the Alfred app in the app switcher
- Tap "App info"
- Tap "Battery"
- Choose "Unrestricted"
⚡️ Disable Battery Saver mode
- Open "Settings"
- Tap "Battery"
- Tap "Battery Saver"
- Disable "Battery Saver"
⛔️ Turn off "Do Not Disturb"
Enable autostart when the screen is off (OPPO, ASUS, and Infinix only)

System Settings > Security > Privacy Permission > Startup Manager and turn on the switcher toggle to allow Alfred to start up
📱 ASUS
System Settings > Battery > Startup Manager and allow auto-start
📱 Infinix
Phone master app > Auto-start Management and allow auto-start
Reinstall the app and restart your phone
When you don’t receive notifications from an app, restarting your phone or reinstalling the app can often resolve this issue. This is because even if the issue is a frozen or crashed app or a bad network connection, doing so may automatically resolve those issues and avoid a long troubleshooting process.
