If you find that Motion Detection is missing motions, here are some reasons and situations to avoid:
- Object of interest is not within 15 meters of the Camera device (with high sensitivity)
- Object is too small to trigger Motion Detection
- Lighting condition is not ideal
- Background and objects blend together (e.g. snow and white rabbits)
- Camera device was disconnected or crashed
- Events recording was interrupted by a live session (Android-only issue)
We recommend the following troubleshooting tips:
- Please restart the camera device
- Make sure the date and time on the device is correct
- Turn off "pause detection when moving" setting on the camera's side
- Set Camera's sensitivity to high
