One month of Alfred Monthly Premium is included with the purchase of your first AlfredCam. Only free users are eligible for the free month of Premium. We have listed out the answers that are frequently asked regarding how to activate the subscription or free trial in your account:
How does the free trial work?
Only free users are eligible for the free month of Premium. Purchasing your first AlfredCam will also automatically subscribe to a Monthly Premium, which includes a free trial. You may manually redeem free trial in the app or activate it by pairing AlfredCam. The Monthly Premium plan will start renewing automatically for $5.99 per month after your free trial ends unless you unsubscribe before the end of the one-month trial.
However, by canceling Monthly Premium before redeeming your free trial, your account will no longer be eligible for a free trial as well.
How to redeem a free trial?
Please make sure to log in to the same account that purchased the AlfredCam, and your free trial will be automatically activated after pairing your AlfredCam. If you would like to start using the Premium services before pairing your AlfredCam, you may also manually redeem your free trial by following the steps listed below.
⚠️ Note: We will send you a confirmation email when your free trial has been activated and another two days before it expires.
- On your Viewer device, go to the More tab
- Tap [Your Name] at the top
- Tap Alfred Premium 1 Month Free at the bottom to redeem your free trial
If you don't see the button to redeem, it often indicates one of the reasons below:
- This account has already redeemed the free trial (a free trial is only offered to your account on the first purchase of AlfredCam).
- The Monthly Premium was canceled before you redeemed the free trial.
- You did not log in to the same account as you purchased the AlfredCam.
- If your AlfredCam was given as a gift, your account is not eligible for a free trial. However, you may still pair your AlfredCam as a free user.
Does my free trial expire?
Your free trial will be valid for 18 months from the date of purchase. It will be automatically activated after your AlfredCam is paired with your account. If you would like to start using the Premium services before pairing your AlfredCam, you may also manually redeem your free trial by following the steps listed below.
- On your Viewer device, go to the More tab
- Tap [Your Name] at the top
- Tap Alfred Premium 1 Month Free at the bottom to redeem your free trial
PayPal’s email shows the next billing date is one year from now?
When you purchase your first AlfredCam, PayPal’s system will automatically set an effective date for your free trial as 18 months from the date of purchase, and the auto-renewing as starting a month afterward.
However, once your free trial has been redeemed in the account, the effective date for the free trial and an auto-recurring starting date will be automatically updated in your PayPal account.
Does the Monthly Premium start renewing after my free trial ends?
Purchasing your first AlfredCam will also automatically subscribe to a Monthly Premium, which includes a free trial. The Monthly Premium that comes with your AlfredCam automatically renews after free trial unless canceled, and will start renewing automatically for $5.99 per month after your free trial ends.
⚠️ Note: If you cancel your Monthly Premium before your free trial starts, your account will no longer be eligible for the free trial either.
Can I use AlfredCam without a Premium subscription?
You may use AlfredCams without a subscription as a free user. To allow you to experiment with the perfect combination of AlfredCamera’s software and hardware, we offer a free month of Premium service on your first purchase.
After your free trial ends, your Monthly Premium will start renewing automatically for $5.99 per month. If you do not wish to be charged, you may cancel your Monthly subscription before your free trial ends.
⚠️ Note: If you cancel your Monthly Premium before the free trial starts, your account will no longer be eligible for a free trial either.
