There are a few reasons you might have trouble logging into your Alfred account. In this article, you will find out some solutions to help you get back into your Alfred account:
- Check your internet connection
- Check the spelling of your email address or password
- Revoke Alfred’s access to your Google/Apple account
- Log in on Android devices without Google Play Services
- Try other login methods
Check your internet connection
If the login page doesn’t load, sometimes there may be a temporary glitch with the connection. Please wait and try again or connect your device to another network.
Check the spelling of your email address or password
You may have entered the wrong email address or password. Please check the spelling and make sure that you've entered the correct one before trying to log in again. If you're confident that the email is correct but you forget the password, please reset your password.
⚠️ Note: Passwords are case sensitive, please make sure you put the correct password form. (e.g., “ABC” and “abc” are recognized as two different passwords)
Revoke Alfred’s access to your Google/Apple account
If you see the error code 3001 or 3006, it indicates that the Google/Apple verification has failed. Please follow the instruction to fix the issue:
- Log out and log in to Alfred again
- Remove Alfred's access to:
Log in on Android devices without Google Play Services
If your devices do not have Google Play Service, you cannot log in via “Continue with Google”. If you already have an existing Alfred account that you registered via Google, please follow the below steps to log in instead.
On your devices:
- Choose “Continue with Email”
- Enter the same Gmail you registered with your Google account before
- Set a password for your existing account by following the reset password steps
Try other login methods
If none of the suggestions work for you, please try other login options.
⚠️ Note: For the moment, Alfred only supports Apple sign-in feature on devices running above iOS 13 and Android app version 2021.6.0. So, if you only have one device that meets the requirement, please choose “Continue with Apple” on that device and pair it with other devices by using the QR code feature.
